About Me

Nehanda Helmker is a Belizean born English teacher that grew up partially in The United States and partially in Middle and South America, where she was born. Living in Germany and being married to a German, has helped her to improve and understand how German speakers learn English. As an English teacher, Nehanda has a passion for learning and languages and has taught English and English Literature at High school level for 13 years. She then switched her career to tele communication and worked with several companies in sales and Customer service where she built focus groups aimed at improving performance and sales.

With her work as The National Coordinator of The Duke of Edinburgh Award, she got the opportunity to mentor many youth in areas of character development.

The Award program is a character development program, formed by the Duke of Edinburgh, that focuses on Skill, Community service and Sports and ends with and an adventurous journey. As we moved forward to advocate for youth world wide, We welcome members of the royal family to journey with us.
